- Increase cross-enterprise collaboration for developing innovative healthcare solutions Our Progress: Employee use of our internal social networks continues to increase, as do opportunities for collaboration and knowledge transfer via Medtronic technical forums and Science and Technology conferences.
- Increase external collaborations, with a special focus on emerging markets Our Progress: During fiscal year 2012 we benchmarked best practices for research and development in India and China and appointed local R&D staff at our new Medtronic Innovation Experience Center in Shanghai.
